Get Started and Grow is a fully funded business support scheme, which provides a package of expert advice on specific topics including HR, accountancy, legal, social media and marketing.

Richard said: “I had a detailed session with another accountant to talk through set-up as well as several sessions with The NextGen to talk through social media strategy and my website.”

Kathryn Hyde, Managing Director at The NextGen provided Richard with support around creating a business model, formal and informal networking, social media marketing and website development.

She said: "Working with Richard has been a rewarding experience. The NextGen Start Up Programme focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with the tools they need to thrive, and Richard’s success is a testament to the effectiveness of our comprehensive support approach.

“By assisting him with digital marketing and other key areas, we were able to help him build a solid foundation for his business.

“Seeing his business come to fruition and knowing that it has led to job creation is truly gratifying. Congratulations to Richard on his new venture!"

Richard added: “The best thing about the programme is how approachable Kathryn has been and always willing to help.

“She has pointed me in the right direction and reassured me that I am doing a great job.

“I feel that the programme is of such help to start-ups, and I have already recommended it to other start-up businesses.

“Setting up a business is no small task, and I will continue to recommend anyone thing about it to get support through the Get Started and Grow programme.”
