Our expert team will find the best mentor match based on your criteria. We cannot guarantee a match as this depends on the availability of a suitable mentor at the time, however we will keep your application on file and review on a regular basis, informing you should one come available.

Step 3 - Introduction to your Match

Begin your mentoring relationship with an introductory meeting and set the stage for ongoing collaboration. We will provide some guidance on what you should cover in this meeting and creating healthy boundaries.

Step 4 - Grow

This is for the mentor and mentee to agree between yourselves. You may wish to consider one-off mentoring sessions, although we would recommend building a longer term relationship to maximise the value that you both get. There is no minimum or maximum time set by NextGen and this is down to the individuals involved.
The matching process typically takes 2-3 weeks, depending on your specific criteria and availability of suitable mentors.
Yes, we understand the importance of a good match. If you feel your mentor or mentee is not the right fit, we will work with you to find a better match. You can change any time, and be assigned a new match if you have reached a natural end with your previous match.
The mentor matching service is free of charge, the only costs involved may be travel or refreshments, however those must be covered by the party incurring them. NextGen is not liable for expenses.
