This interactive workshop is designed to equip participants with the practical tools and insights needed to write compelling and successful grant funding applications. Led by a seasoned Bid Manager (Joanne Smith from Wordsmith Projects) with extensive experience securing funding across public, private, and third sectors, the session will demystify the application process from initial concept to final submission.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how funders evaluate applications, how to align proposals with funding priorities, and how to clearly demonstrate impact and value for money. The workshop covers key components of a strong application, including needs analysis, objectives, project planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation.
The session includes real-life examples, hands-on exercises, and expert tips to avoid common pitfalls and strengthen your bid writing skills. Ideal for charities, community groups and entrepreneurs seeking funding for projects, research, or service delivery.
